Introduction

 

During 1997, a group of professional Tennis players along with investors launched the first private Tennis Academy out of pure passion for the sport, yet after massive success, the academy was expanded into a fully-fledged sporting club.

Building on the positive reputation, the Tennis Academy expanded twice to include all sports and social activities; SSC Tennis Academy is one of the most renown in the country and has around 700 players of all levels.

Smash Sporting Club is constructed over an area of 20 acres, with fully-fledged modern sports and social facilities that cater to all ages, providing a revamped sporting club experience for its users.

  • One unique aspect in Smash Sporting Club is the selective harmonious community through strict interviews applied to the whole family. This is in order to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease at your club.
  • Smash Sporting Club is the benchmark in the sports field. This made the club the first choice for other premium clubs who seek professional sports services support, such as Katameya Heights, especially in the Tennis and Swimming fields.

    We believe that the private sector has to have a role in developing our society. In addition to the nature of our business that by default develops the wellbeing of individuals, our clubs take various initiatives to benefit charity and society’s wellbeing under our Social Responsibility programs. Examples of activities in our current Social Responsibility programs are:
    – Literacy program.
    – Orphans events.
    – Wheel chair tennis programs.

Smash Sporting Club is the Tennis hub of the region and is the host of numerous International & National Tennis Events;
Club hosted close to a 100 International Tennis Events in the course of its history, such as:

  • Futures men and women
  • ITF J5 J4 J3 J2
  • ITF/African junior tournament
  • AJCs
  • African regional coaches’ workshops
  • Coaches’ education Level 1, 2 and 3
  • 23 national tournaments
